I believe you can still do it the way you just described, but it has to be an exact replacement. For example, SC 8118, track 2 for SC8118, track 2.This is the case of a bad import, or you decide to change the comprssion rate, etc. You simply put the disc in and re-import.
What you're trying to do is replace one brand with another, and that's a different horse. You first have to get rid of the existing file, id and all and enter the new one fresh.
