I lost my hard drive. Installed Windows 98-SE. Installed all of the Windows updates. Then installed Microstudio plus the Plextor USB driver and the file from Microsoft but that doesn't matter here.

Microstudio does not recognize the drive and Windows Explorer does not show it either. It was connected at the time the computer was turned on.

Note that I am using USB 1.0. The connector was plugged into the USB 2.0 port on the Plextor before and it worked just fine. But it doesn't work now.

Did I miss doing something?
