e.g.
If the last track is listed as 7:15 sec. (will always be excessively long on multisession discs) but the song is actually 3:50 sec. I do this.
Convert each to sec.
(7 * 60) + 15 = 435 sec.
(3* 60) + 50 = 230 sec.

Now divide to get percentage 230/435 = 53%

Now when microstudio is 53% complete on track 15 hit the eject button.
I believe this will get you the closest possible to the actual length of the song so you don't have excessive silence at the end of the song. This can be a bother if you use Auto mode in Hoster.

After you have successefully extracted the song load it from HD into play tab of Microstudio and play it to see that you got the entire song without chopping off end or getting too much silence at end. If unsatisactory, try again.

I see what you are saying! I will try that also just to see how it works. It seems like it would be a lot faster. The only way I know of to tell how long the songs are is to go to the play tab and start the song so it will display the time for you. I have found that it does not make much difference if you go over as long as Microstudio does not time out. It might even be there even if Microstudio times out but for a 7:15 minute track you would be waiting for some time to find out. Thanks for your input. There is almost always more than one way to do something.

See ya
