What do you mean the Hoster background shows up on the T.V., but not the Hoster software?

If you are properly set up in extended desktop mode, and your video card supports dual display, the only background you should be seeing on the T.V. when Hoster is not running is your p.c. desktop, minus any shortcuts, toolbars, etc.

If you are seeing everything on the tv, the same as your p.c., you are in clone mode and not in extended desktop, which it should be.

To go into extended desktop, have the tv turned on and hooked up, right click anywhere on a blank spot on your monitor, click properties, click settings.

You should now see two monitors. Click on #2, and then click on the box next to "Extend My Windows Desktop Onto This Monitor", and click apply.
