You should go ahead and reinstall Hoster and Microstudio on your laptop form what I know. I believe that most people only keep their music on an external drive because it takes up so much space. I would suggest at least a 120 gig hard drive up to 200. Some people even have 2 external hard drives or more. You could have one for your karaoke music and one for your MP3 files. The tech people where I work advised me to only buy either a Western Digital or Seagate hard drive. I'm sure some people on here will disagree with that and may have a Maxtor, which is very commonly sold in stores. I have two Seagate 120 gig external hard drives and am very happy with them.
