Re: Help!!!!! Hoster install says email address in wrong!!

Here is the relivant portion of my download email that I received from you when I installed 21UpG......

-----------------------------------
Product Store Code and Title:
Hoster21UpG - Hoster 2.127 Software Upgrade from 2.014 or prior

Registration Email:
dayton@gsiwave.com

Registration Code:
(Not Displayed)

Your Personal Download Link:
http://www.mtu.com/download.php?sc=mtu&id=(Not displayed)
------------------------------

The alltel.net email address is over a year old. The "gsiwave" address was the one that was sitting in the field the first time I tried to register yesterday. (It too was old but that's what was in there). I did'nt even look at it until the registration failed the first time. I then tried my current address to no avail.

I don't have the slightest idea how the email addresses got hosed up but I DID read the instructions and DID follow them just as I had on prior upgrades. And I forgot about that alltel address a long time ago.

If I am at fault in any way here, then I don't see what it was that I did wrong.

I am, however, glad to hear that you have something in the works that might help, should something like this happen again in the future.

I'll have to look again for the precicse time but, I posted my plea for help some two hours or so before quitting time. (I assume you guys knock off about 5ish). You're help instructions say, and stress, that I should post in the forum. I did that. So far as I know, I did everything just as I was supposed to do. But I would have thought that SOMBODY would have at least checked for cries for help in the forums before leaving the shop for the day.

I do appologize for the tone of my later comments but I am not aware of ANYTHING that I did wrong and that I was about to loose that $200.00 gig. (Which I DID loose). It's bound to get a fellow a but upset.

Oh yes, I put that old alltel address in and the upgrade is now installed. Thanks.
