Thansk you for the suggestions, but none of this worked! WMP is persistant in wanting to Rip any disc that is inserted, no mater what type of files I tell it to look for. This is a scarey thing!
I'm just about ready to back up all the files that are good, and reformat the computer and start from scratch unless someone has something else to consider.
