The only chips that I know for a fact that will work are the following:
ATI Radeon 7500 Mobility - Old chip-discontinued
ATI Radeon 9000 Mobility - Works Great-older chip
ATI Radeon 9600 Mobility - Very good and new chip
ATI Radeon 9700 Mobility - Top of the LIne Laptop video chip. Extremely fast graphics. This is the chip that is in our new Laptops
