Is your 'D:' drive your CD drive?

The Select folder is for where you want to save the project info, thus it should be a folder on your hard drive...not your CD drive.

From the manual:

Click the Select Folder button to change where you save your Projects on the hard drive. You can create a new directory by clicking the new folder icon inside this dialog box. The field to the right always shows the current selected folder.

Then to add tracks to your project, click the CD or Hard Drive button. (located to the left of the screen under 'Add Track From') Once you have all the songs into your project, make sure your reading drive and writing drive are selected then click Write CD.
