gduns, I'm certainly not disagreeing with you, your points are very well taken, but MTU did weigh in and said they had tried these files on their computers, set up the way they configure them to sell with Hoster, and they also had the drop out. this restored my faith a bit, as I had applied all of their recomended solutions on my machines (2) with no possitive results. Why only the small percentage of people reporting the problem, I don't know. Maybe they only use one of these disc every great once in a while, who knows. Maybe what I would percieve as a loss in audio signal, someone else wouldn't notice. I have faith in the fine folks at MTU. they sort this one out.
