first, go to control panel, and disable all system sounds, you dont want to hear them during a show.
then go to start.....run.... ytpe dxdiag..... and in the video tab disable direct draw.
right click on the screen, and click properties....screen saver.... power..... and pick never for all the options.
pick the appearance tab......click effects......turn off fade effects and smooth font edges.
lastly, control panel........system properties......advanced.....performance...... settings..... adjust for best performance.......then click advanced.......virtual memory.......change....custom size.....set minimum, and maximum at 512.....as a custom setting. apply apply save, reboot, and see what happens.... let me know.
