So long as they bring them back at the end of their song, I generally don't mind at all sombody going "Vegas Style", as you say. It generally means that they know their song and are at least trying to be a bit more entertaining than just standing there like a bump on a log. (Like most of them).
As for the player?...... Hmmmmm.... Well, Just my humble opinion, of course, but I prefer a product called "Hoster". [BWG] Couple Hoster with a descent PC or lap-top and a multi-display card and your in-like-flynn.
