Well guys, as I said earlier I was seeing a common thread looming on the horizon, namely JVC incompatability, and it's been bugging me. There seemed only one way to find out. It was getting full anyway and the day was looming on the horizon when I'd need(want) a player with larger capacity. Today I got a Sony and all my color problems vanished. Been messing with it all afternoon, and not a glitch. What got my attention was the fact that it will also play CDRW (which is going to get me out of the coaster manufacturing business) 400 cd capacity, and a price tag of $300. Not in the CD player business, but if anyone's interested it's the Sony CDP-CX400. There's not a word anywhere in the sales literature regarding CDRW read capability but it does it. I was lucky to get a salesman that knew it would, as that was one of my requirements. What was more important to me, all the color problems with KHP dissapeared...Yahoo!

Thanks all,

George
