Hmmm.... Okay, I rebooted and have the two displays going. The desktop display shows the usual windows icons and such. The second display, (On the TV), is the same color as the desktop display but has no icons. I could drag an icon down there if I wanted. This shows that I am in extended desktop mode and not clone mode.

I open the display properties dialog and see the following tabs: Background, Screen Saver, Appearance, Web, Effects and Settings. It shows a picure of a monitor and a list of files containing possible wallpapers. (I have it set to "None"). I see nothing showing "Monitor 1" or "Monitor 2". I saw something about this in the docs but thought it might be just because I might have hade the latest software that somehow, didn't need it or something.

I would hate to think that something went wrong with the installation of the video card, and I just didn't know enough to realise it. :(

Please tell me if this is a clue to the problem......

P.S. How can I verify my Direct-x version?
