Please tell me what version of Windows are you running? The only way to fix this is to do all of the Windows Updates. I have tested this under Windows 98 SE yesterday and it worked fine, as long as I had the Windows Updates.
When you go to the Windows Update site it will state on the Left hand side the following 3 items:
Critical Updates- These have nothing to do with our software,
Windows XX(Version such as XP) and
Driver Updates.
To do all of the Windows Updates from any of the items other than Critical Updates, click on the Items Listed above (on the left side).
Then click on your Windows Version to select it.
Review and click Each item that you wish to Add to the Installation.
You must select every item to install as upgrades for our software to work correctly.
