Thanks, Gary.

bdayton, save yourself a lot of manual hunting and try this:

1- Have your remote tv hooked up and turned on.

2-Right click on any open spot on your desktop.

3-Click Properties.

4-Click Settings.

5-Click on Monitor Number 2.

6-Check the box Extend My Windows Desktop Onto This Monitor.

7-Check Apply.

8-Reboot the pc.

You should now see nothing but your background wallpaper on the remote tv, no shortcuts, toolbars, etc.

Hope this overrides whatever else happened, and gets it.
