It almost sounds like you are running dual displays (clone)rather than extending the desktop to the second screen.
Keep in mind, you should have both displays set to the same settings, ie: 1024x768, or 600x 800.......
also make sure you have all the latest windows updates, & direct x 9.0b. actually come to think of it does the 7500 support direct direct x 9.0b?
