I gotta be honest and tell you I havn't the foggiest idea what the problem is. The singer's screen is supposed to fill the extended desktop. I don't get what you mean by " it's own half".
You drag it to the extended desktop then double click to lock it into full screen and it remains persistant, filling the screen when a track is or is not playing. Why do you want to reduce it between songs? Sounds like it's acting normal.
I may be wrong, but I don't see the problem, that's why I stayed out of that part of it when I responded regarding the 7500.
