Some observations

It appears you are running two Firewalls (Zone Alarm & Symantec) These two programs don’t like each other and their combination on the same machine could create disaster with some applications.
If you are only running one firewall, then you still have portions of the other installed. This should be corrected as soon as possible.
You also have Quarterdeck’s Clean Sweep installed. Clean Sweep is now part of Norton’s System works which is far more stable than Quarterdeck’s old version. If you are using System works, I subject you uninstall it completely and run it from de CD when needed (about once a month)
Below is a short description of what the files on your startup group do. Check this against your computer configuration. You should get an idea what or not to uncheck.
As George suggested, it would be wise to uncheck one item at a time keeping close track so you can revert if something goes wrong.
Yes, in my opinion, Edirol’s Sound Canvass merits all this extra work. It’s a great program!

If you don’t have a graphics tablet, uncheck this entry from your startup group

Microsoft Windows Critical Update. This program will notify you when security related updates have been released. An excellent way to keep your system secure.

Related to the power management of the computer.
QDFastAndSafe
Fast & Safe clean-up from Symantec. Removes Temporary Internet Files and other files that are safe to delete.

Symantec Event Manager Service
Program associated with Norton Antivirus 2003/4. The program is responsible for keeping track of all events that occur within the previously-mentioned products and then writing the details of those events to the Activity Log.

Part of Norton Anti-virus.
GhostStartService (GhostStartService.exe) (Not required at Start-up)
Required to run the Windows based wizard in Norton Ghost - added from the 2003 version. Will start automatically when you run the wizard.
TrueVector (VSMON.EXE)
Related to the Zone Alarm firewall from Zone Labs.
CSINJECT (CSINLECT.EXE)
Part of Quarterdeck/Norton Clean Sweep. "Csinject must be loaded in order for Smart Sweep to automatically monitor installations and properly track registry changes."
