We cannot do a "JVC" only version. The confusion in our clients would destroy our customer support!

We are all bound to the CDG spec from Sony/Phillips. If JVC has violated that spec, there is nothing we can reasonablly do to fix that. a CDG disc MUST be able to play on any CDG player. It cannot be designed to only run only on one.

Nikkodo created CDG players with slightly different CDG timing so their CDG discs wouldn't play on other players! Dumb move that aided in their downfall. The market will not tolerate that type of proprietary move. Now, we are left with having to explain why Nikkodo discs have problems with Microstudio's player code.

I am watching this thread unfold. I wish I could add to it, but it is beyond our knowledge scope. I do encourage you to continue. It is valuable info for the Karaoke market to see. Thanks for posting it here!
