The Video card that you have is what is causing this. The Trident card, from past experiences doesn't have the power to run the software. You need to have either and ATI Radeon Video card or an NVIDIA card for the video to correctly work.
We recommend ATI.
These are the only two manufacturers that make the chips for Laptops, that will correctly run the software.
