Clean Your CDROM
I have been reporting problems for a Loooonnnnnggggg time with the Plextor Drive not accessing/reading properly after a few months.
Well, I finally spent $10.00 on a CDROM Disc Cleaner, from Wal-Mart, and now my CDROM is like BRAND-NEW! Syncs in on Blank CDR's immediately...getting superior copies...etc.
Evidently, there is a Optical Screen in front of the Laser that gets dirty. This is what the CDROM Cleaning Disc cleans.
I don't know why I didn't know this...must have spaced it.
