What can cause this is that your JVC player is Playing the disc back at 1x. When you import the disc into the computer you are reading alot faster than the 1x speed.
What you can try is go to the Tools Tab (or Tools Menu in 2.124) and select CD/DVD Drives Default. Under this uncheck the Auto Select and then change to the speed to a slower speed such as 10x or something. If you are still having dots with this disc, then slow it to 1x, which it plays at on your JVC player.
