To check the drives to see if they are CDG compatible, open Microstudio, click on the DUPLICATE DISC tab, and click on the DETECT DRIVES tab. If your drives are properly installed they will be listed in the window that pops up. If they are cdg compatible it will say yes, for the particular drive. If you get all no's, you need a new burner. MTU sells cdg certified burners. They test each one they send out. If nothing shows up, that's another issue.

If you get a yes, close that window and just to the left of the DETECT DRIVES tab there are two drop down windows. Make certain the read/write drives are designated in the correct window.

If you have one cdg compatable drive to both read and write cdg, then select the same drive for both functions.

A regular cdrom drive will not handle cdg, or the cdg drive is not selected, and if my hunch is correct, that's the problem. If not, move over and make room for me up in that tree with you

I followed the install setup and got warnings to remove this hardware from my computer. I thought I figured that out but it still happens
What hardware is this referring to?
