I have found that if you use mp3's and convert them to wav files for use with khpro the end result is pretty poor compared with using wav files taken straight from an audio cd.

I am not saying this is your problem, as I do not know the source of your wav files.

When I used cdg files made through mp3's I had to turn the volume way up on my JVC karaoke machine, which in turn produced lots of feedback and nasty bass noises through my speakers.
