Thumbs up Re: Let's do things right

Thanks for the input about Wins XP. I did do a full install, formatting to NTFS. But I started with a new HD. I've never used the XP upgrade before and will not again, or recomend it to anyone. The only thing I've installed so far is Norton Systemworks. I leaned my lesson the last time I did a Wins Install and ended up getting the Blaster Worm. Wasn't thinking before trying to get the updates for Wins XP. Norton walked me through getting rid of it though.

Now my question, in regards to Plextor Manager 2000. Can I install it and then get the update for using it with XP or do I need to get the upgrade software before I try to install it. I assume I need this program before installing the rest of the software from MTU; as in Microstudio, Dupe 2000, MVP 2000, etc. And is this a free upgrade or will I need to purchase it? I will have a DSL connection when I get up & running on this computer if I need to download it. Thanks again for all your help.
