George is correct, Made by ATI is always been a better option BUT it looks like ATI will soon stop making their cards just like geforce did!!
I've been to 3 different retail stores when trying to buy an ATI card about 2 months ago & they all said the same thing.
ATI is having difficulties to be competitive with their own cards so it looks like it would be a better option for them to continu the research and sell their chip!
