It is well established in my mind at least that Microstudio, KPRO, (and I imagine Hoster), clip the songs at the end of Karaoke songs, files or on karoke disc, while playing them. If there is extensive silence at the end, one is more likely to hear all the music. (only the graphics are clipped) If not, then the clipping will be at the expense of some of the music.
It has nothing to do with computer settings or one's religion.
It only has to do with amount of silence after the music.
KPRO productions have an easy fix, like what you have discovered. Congratulations.
The problem of Microstudio clipping the music of a
Professionally Produced cdg can be remedied, if you know how to splice a few seconds of silence on to the file.
(My Opinion) Since very few songs clip the music while Microstuio, and I guess Hoster, play them, this problem might not be fixed by MTU. We have to fix the songs themselves as they come.
Good Luck and have fun
PS. When these "clipping" files are put on disc and played by stand alone players, there is no problem
