I have all my Hoster files on an external 180-GB hard drive. My operating system and the Hoster application itself reside on my laptop's hard drive but all my music is on the external hard drive.

When you're importing songs, you tell Hoster where you want the songs to be stored. If you used to store them on your C Drive in a directory called C:\Karaoke but you now want them on your external drive, let's say D:\Karaoke, then just plug that information in and all new imported songs will be stored there.

For files already existing on your C Drive, you can simply change the location of the files in the SONGS.MDB database. Contact me if you want to find out how to do that.
