There used to be a school of thought that slower is better, but with the advent of better burner and media technology that's not so anymore.

A lot will depend on the quality of the media you use. If you bought through MTU, or are using a comparable quality media, you can burn cdg's as fast as you wish up to 52X (depending on the burner). I burn at 48X with my 48/24/48 Plextor and never have any problems.

I also take an extra precaution and clean each blank disc before burning.

You may even find in some instances that "glitches" that were on the original will not be on the copies when burned at fast speeds.
