[*] Put your master disc in the CDR drive.
[*]
Select an existing or create a new folder on your Hard Drive where you want to save your processed files. You can save .cdg and .wav files in the same folder, or create different folders for each.

CDG button is selected (not the WAV button) to enable importing a Karaoke CDG file with the music and lyrics together. (To import wav, especially if CD-Rom is non-cdg compliant select the wave button)
[*]
Click the Detect Drives button to make sure your CDR drive can read and write Karaoke files. If not, you can purchase a CDG certified CDR drive from MTU.
[*]
Click the Reading Drives: down arrow at the right of the field and select one of the presented CDR drives that will read/write Karaoke discs that you identified in the step above.
[*]
Insert your CDG Karaoke disc in the CDR drive, or you can use an Audio CD disc if you want to key change a music .wav file.
[*]
Click the Select Folder button to find a folder you want to store your files into. You can create a new folder by clicking the small icon with the * in it, towards the upper right. When you hold your mouse over it it will display a popup with "Create New Folder". When you have the folder you want, click it to select it, and click the Select button to close this dialog. The Select Folder field will now show this folder.
[*]
Click the Read CD Tracks button to read all the tracks on your CDG Karaoke disc. They will appear in the list area below.
[*]
Click the square check box beside the track(s) you want to import to select them to import. You must enter a filename beside each selected track before the Import operation will work. Read the manual about using the Auto name function.
[*]

[*]
Run Keyrite and change the key of your imported tracks.[/list=1]
Again, if you want to import a .wav audio only file (without lyrics), click the WAV button on the Import Tracks Tab instead of the CDG button. You can even import the music only from a Karaoke CDG disc if you want to write it back to an Audio CD.
Hope this answers your questions on importing .wav and .cdg files and you have many happy times in the future!!
