Check that the Auto Insert Notification is still turned off, this is what allows Adaptec's Program to pop up when you put a blank CD in the drive. If you have Adaptec Direct CD loaded, you will need to remove this software as it will crash Microstudio. This thread will tell you how to remove the Direct CD if you have it
