Stop messages are not common

Lyonhart,

No, this is not a common problem. Stop:0x000000X messages ARE always related to conflicts between certain applications drivers AND the Operating System.

There are dozens of Stop Error Messages. When you get one of them, the computer “stops,” just like the message says, you get a blue screen, and you have to reboot.

You don’t mention which product or products you bought from MTU, however; you are running Windows XP Home Edition AND ALL MTU products run fine under this Operating System.

Looking at your post I see you are running DirectX 8.0. MTU products require DirectX 8.1 or higher. Are you sure you are running 8.0?

Windows releases updates almost everyday. Make sure you have installed all the latest updates; you can do this by running “Windows Update.”

Please check your DirectX version AND posted it back. Here is a link about how to do this. This link will tell you how to upgrade it if you need to.

Please let us know if any of this helps.

Good luck,

Jon
