Yes, the noise is a ground loop problem. My laptop had the same problem. Several others have reported the same RF noise. The solution is to plug your laptop power supply transformer into the AC source through a two pronged plug thus lifting the ground and isolating the laptop. Just MAKE SURE that all your other equipment is pluged into the same power line as your laptop. Otherwise you could have everything go up in smoke.
