The humming noise was corrected by replacing an incompatible power supply.
My remaining problem is that I can not hear any Hoster audio via my sound system used for performance karaoke. (Video appears to be fine.) Additionally, YouTube clips can not be heard via built-in PC speakers unless I remove the Indigo-DJ hardware from the PCMCIA slot.
I have attached all the set-up information I think might aid in troubleshooting this issue. My hope is that I do not have to abandon this effort and purchase another laptop to use for this single support need (that is, "back-up" Karaoke/Juke Box).
As always, any and all help greatly appreciated!

First off, have you
ever had this Indigo sound card working with Hoster ?
I ask because in your Hoster audio attachment it shows the card as Virtual card, sounds a bit like the Asio type drivers that I have never had much luck with myself, I don't think Hoster works with these type drivers.
Anyone else knows different please speak up.
If I was you I would uninstall the indigo software then set Hoster up to run from the built in soundcard after all you are only wanting this as a backup.
If you want a better sound card best to make sure all works well with the standard card first then we can talk about adding another card.
I assume you have a headphone out jack that you can use to run your audio to your amp or mixer without an external card.
To Set Hoster to run correct with that card from the Tools/Audio Controls select the manage audio cards "The big black button" then the audio tab, then select your "Sigma Tele Audio" as default device for sound playback, press OK.
Now do the same with the Playlist Audio card drop down, select the same Sigma Tele Audio card, now presumable the search audio card will show empty. press OK again
It might now be best to close Hoster and restart it to complete the setup.
This should make Hoster play everything through the speakers although you won't have search audio card capability but if you can get it to this point I can advise you how to add that after. I really want to make sure your built in sound card is working to know Hoster is functioning correct before getting more involved with add-ons.
