I like to import tracks and, after making my cdgs, saving the imported tracks as cdg files on disc. I believe it is a better backup than an audio disc.
Anyway, I had to use my saved files to create an audio disc. I believe that I was in 2.400.(I use both 2.400 and 2.315 for different reasons)
I first selected my files right from the disc on another drive. I pushed the create cd button and nothing happened. The button depressed but there was no action; not even an error message.
I have created CDGS where the source was saved files on a disc in another drive so I figured that 2.400 was to blame.
I tried 2.315. Same result.
I
played the files using Microstudio and they played fine.
I copied the files to the hard drive, same result.
Finally I checked the properties of the files and unchecked the Read-only box. I was able to burn my CD.
Perhaps the different softwares that I use to make data discs have different defaults.

THAT WAS SCARY!!
Especially since I have well over 150 cds full of cdg files.
