Re: Hoster Install Support Need (Who knew?)

Greetings,
In my attempt to establish a back-up computer using the same exact karaoke song (and songbook, etc.) material I have loaded on the Durabook Computer I have been using for the past seven years, I am pleased to say that I have finally gotten past my initial Hoster installation "woes".

Now that Hoster (v5.34.01) is successfuly installed on my back up computer (Window XP OS) I am now attempting to perform the steps needed to access the more than 8,000 KMA files originally loaded on my Durabook computer, that is, without having to re-import every single CD all over again.

I tried using the Hoster "Index Song Files" instructions but I can not make sense of them. My files are loaded to my backup computer (that is, copied as KMA files), therefore, it seems as though I need to perform the "Index Song File" process to accomplish my need. I've selected that option but I am not sure of the "next steps" (karaoke option = MP3G, or BIN, or?????).

What seems even worse, there are various different naming conventions in use with regard to my KMA file names (DiscID, Artist, Track.....DiscID, Track....etc.) YIKES!

I feel as if I have jumped into a rabbit hole where I keep going deeper and deeper while trying to come up for air.......

As always, any and all help greatly appreciated.
