Re: Afraid To Upgrade Video Hoster

I can't understand why you see this message if you are just upgrading

The problem you are seeing is normally seen when you try to install on a different computer without un-installing (While connected to the internet)prior to trying to upgrade. No good uninstalling after the event.

Do you have multiple licences ?
If so do you get the licence registration details mixed up ?

Once you get locked out the only way to get your registration re-set is via the help ticket support http://www.mtu.com/support/customer-...htm#HelpTicket

When you try to upgrade what procedure do you follow ?
After starting the install wizard on the first screen do you make sure to select the upgrade radio button ?
Not the remove button unless you are planning to put it on another computer.
When you get to the 3rd screen Accept the terms
The 4th screen has 2 tick boxes, ignore both these boxes.
If you tick any of the boxes on this page let us know as I don't know if there could be a conflict after selecting either of these as I never need to tick them.
The 5th page Reg email & registration code should show your details already entered, do you alter anything already displayed on this screen ?
You should not alter anything if you are just upgrading.
The next page is just a confirmation page after selecting next the details should send to mtu and you should receive a thank you message. Do you follow as I described above or do you alter anything let us know.
