The LiteOn drives are unable to copy the Karaoke correctly or read and write them. We have never been able to get any of the drives from that Manufacturer to work.
We have never heard or seen any indication that Plextor makes the LiteOn drives. Given the price difference, I doubt your drive is made by Plextor.
MTU buys drives and upgrades them to run with current Windows versions. We certify our drives to do CDG read and write. You can find more info on our drives by
