I had that issue one time myself, I had updated the NVidia video driver, it was a beta version, started the show and the lyrics just piled up on the screen, played some music and reverted back to the previous driver and problem disappeared. didn't even restart the computer.
so look to see if windows has updated the video driver, doesn't matter if discrete or integrated graphics, see if the installation date correlates as to when the problem started.
