You probably should slide the output amplitude slider up until audio blinks just below the red on the peak notes before saving the file in Vogone.
Could there be a coincidence in that there is a setting on your Karaoke player/amplifier system that accidentally got pushed in, or something of that nature? I know on mine there are different settings for room effects, surround sound, concert hall, etc and I occassionally have dramatically reduced volume, and it is a button that is in the wrong setting for my speaker set up. I have to watch that real close.
Since this cropped up have you played another cdg on the system?
Just brainstorming.
