Christi, it is very difficult for MTU to diagnose this problem... just as are the other worthy participants in this Thread. It is not something that support can tackle easily. To spend $1,000+ to troubleshoot this with engineering is not yet justified.
There is no other report to my memory in our history that a Karaoke Pro or Karaoke Home Producer (which uses the same Karaoke Pro code) song will not play on a karaoke player. That is why we state the songs will work wtih "any player".
We will first take the songs from your CDG disc and make a new disc with Microstudio here at MTU. We will then send this to you to try in the offending JVC player. Please post the results back here when this is done. I cannot commit this will go out tomorrow, but we will try to get it out soon.
