I can also take and start the program and start a show; while a song is playing and searching for another song, hoster stops responding. Any thoughts or suggestions on how to fix this problem?

Thanks,

I had the same problem about it stopping when I 1st started the program and I have a similar song size as you. I closed my program and restarted but I clicked "NO" to scan. I checked with a search to see if all the songs were there and sure enough NO.

I closed the program again and opened it back up and I go that small window asking if I want to scan again and this time I answered yes. 6 hours later it finished and there was 1 song that I was focused on that did not get included.

I checked the "EDIT SONG" and it was there. So, I deleted the .kmh & the importedFiles in that folder and added them again so that I was sure that, that song was in the database.

I do not know how many more are missing. But I opened the Windows Explorer and in that folder I clicked "Properties" and found the difference of 50,000 songs more than what Hoster was saying I had.

I went through each folder, all 250, and checked to see if all those songs were in my database and those that weren't got added. But of course this is a new computer and I did copy and paste to a new external hard drive. So, who's to say that something didn't get copied correctly.

Since I expected problems, I wasn't too disappointed and after a couple weeks I think I'm ok now.

I did find that you really need to make the setting changes as that suggest. I found that if I don't change the "Adapter" setting by "Disabling" them in the "Network" setting that sometimes it will crash. I just use the "Troubleshoot Problems" to restart again. So, everything is working ok?!!? I think.
