Where you say the folder is reading c:\MTU\KMAfiles\KMAfiles, are you sure the kma files aren't in the first kma folder: C:\MTU\KMAfiles folder and not in another folder inside that folder as your quoted path.
Can't remember exactly how this was done in version 4 but when you open the build data base dialog and look at the list of folders can you use the Add folder button to brows to the folder C:\MTU\KMA files first and see if that folder contains your kma files or does it just show another folder named kma files and only when you brows to that folder do you see your files ?
If you find the kma are in the fist level folder then add that folder to the folders list and remove the other one then rebuild the database.
You could check this first in windows explorer which folder contains the kma files.
