Settings AND vdj off I have gone about 700 singers w/o a crash. Also thinking that perhaps I was over due for a random crash andmy time was UP Sat.night and itjust happened.

Really really weird. Let's keep plugging away as I really really really don't wish to go back to the crashless 4.09D, butIcan't let my wife move on yet to Hoster 5.x.

Have you contacted your computer manufacturer to have them walk you through a machine test?

For my computer all I do is hit F12 during the boot sequence. It allows me to check all the hardware onboard to include the ram.
