It appears that you are having “Buffer Underrun” problems.

That means that your data is not getting to you CD fast enough from your hard drive.

The Plextor “8/4/32A” that you have is rather old and came out before the "burn proof" technology was implemented. These drives, although certified to burn CD+G are plagued by Buffer Underrun problems and produce more coasters than songs.

I suggest you buy a NEW burner, preferably one of the newer Plextor sold by MTU. MTU test every single burner they sell.

My other suggestion is that you try to slow down the writing speed to either 1 or 2x, sometimes that seems to help.
