Firstly you need to create a folder to save your completed KPRO project in, just in case you decide to edit it. I named mine KPRO PROJECTS for easy identification. Everything saved there will have a .kpr extension. You can then later open any saved project you wish, for editing.

For converting to cdg, you also need a folder to export to and play from. They are not saved in Microstudio. If you've been using Karaoke Home Producer, export to the folder you have been using. If not, create a folder for your cdg's. It can also be the same folder your original song is in.

Ok, so you've saved a completed song to the KPRO PROJECTS folder and want to export it to cdg.
Click FILE...click OPEN... use the pull down menu next to "look in" and find the folder you created and saved the work in. Open that folder. You should see your song there.Open it.You should see the lyrics page.

Now click FILE...click EXPORT TO CDG...use the top pull down menu next to "look in" and find the folder you made to export to and play from. Open the folder.

In the bottom block, name the file(usually song title)
If you use the same folder as the original song is in, add something to the title so you can easily tell them apart, without looking for the file extensions.or example I simply add cdg to the title. MOONGLOW becomes MOONGLOW CDG, which makes it easy for me to spot, as I use all caps anyway. Develop what ever method is convenient for you.

When you go to play it in Microstudio, click the PLAy Tab...click USE HARD DRIVE...click SELECT FOLDER...find the folder you exported the cdg to...click ADD TRACK.. find and open your cdg track and play it.

Hope I didn't muddy the water too badly.
