(which on most is the headphone socket out which disables speaker) You can see if the drop down arrow allows you to choose another, see what happens if you do.
Also having the usb mixer may make the search audio card appear as well, check which audio card that has showing as well.

Yes, I have done that and run hoster thru the usb audio and preview under the laptop speakers...other mp3 instabuttons play normally.
