Re: oooops new computer doesnt support extended desktop

1) Check Tools/Audio control, in playlist audio card window check which card is selected.
2) right click on th little speaker icon on the task bar select "Playback devices" in the dialog that opens is the speakers item set as default if not right click on speakers and set as default.
If you can see HDMI output icon right click that and select disable, this will only stop the sound going through the HDMI cable not the video signal.
3) select speaker again then properties then the levels Tab, now check the volume for audio output.
4) lastly right click speaker icon again on task bar, this time select "Open volume mixer" and check the levels there.
