Re: video hoster

You don't say which version of Hoster 5.06 or

From your question it sounds like you want to just run from your laptop.
If that is the case and they are all kma files. Presuming it is not version 4.xxx or earlier.

Start Hoster, open the build songs database dialog, in the list of folders remove all listed folders except C:/MTU/kma files. In version 5.xxx do this via the exclude folders button. Now shut down Hoster.

Now go to C:/MTU folder and check that you have a KMA files folder, if not create one.
Now just copy the files from your external hard drive to the KMA files folder on the c:/drive.
Then I should shut the computer down, disconnect the external hard drive just to be on the safe side.

Now start Hoster, it may work right away if not go back into the Build songs Database dialog and check if it shows the C:/MTU/kma files folder, if not, first make sure none of the song types to index buttons are highlighted then use the Add folder button and select the folder from there making sure you see all the KMA files listed then press select.
It should start adding all the files to the database from there. After closing it should then be ready to play from there.

If the C:/MTU/KMA files folder was listed but didn't play, highlight the folder and check the right hand pane shows all the files listed if it does press the rebuild songs database button and that should fix it.
